my splendens bettas keep on spawning but every time they do theres only 3 eggs that falls and the male goes pick them up but i dont see him putting it in the bubble nest and the female picks them up too WHAT'S WRONG?

Liz - The reason the female may only be releasing 3 eggs at a time is because she might not be warmed all the way up yet. As for the male, well, he may be waiting for more or he may be eating them. Don\'t worry about the female picking them up. She is probably eating them, but that is very normal. - Jul 31, 2002
