Can I culture my own infusora?

- If you take bad lettuce leaves and water in a jar maybe add some hay you can leave it in there for several days or less. Soon the water will become brownish black. After several more days the water will become clear again and "sweet" smelling. You then can know that you have infusora and may siphon it into the tank with your fry. Great fry food. - Oct 5, 2001
- you can culture your own infusoria, but mikroworms are the way to go. newly hatched betta fry can eat them as their first food. a day or two later, they can eat b.b.s. as well. - Aug 6, 2002
