Is there a way to tell if the nest is fertilized (can you see eggs?)



- Take a flashlight or other light (just make sure it is not too bright) and shine it over the bottom of the nest, if you see cream colored dots you know they've spawned. - Oct 29, 2001
- if your eyes are alright you can see very very little white dots when you look at the nest from below. - Oct 29, 2001
