I added aquarium salt and now the water is cloudy

Hans - If you are giving the betta a salt-bath and added the right amount of salt as suggested in the posts, it should be OK. Never mind the cloudiness. However, if the salt is added as a preventive measure to disease, then the amount of salt as suggested on the package should not have caused the cloudiness since the ratio of salt to water should be very low. - Nov 9, 2001
