how do you tell the difference between femalse and males



- if you have fish where u can't see what sex they are by looking at their fins (so plakat bettas = short fins) it helps too look for the 'egg-spot'. this is a tiny, little white 'dot' just before the anal-fin which only females have. - Oct 29, 2001
