How do you treat Hole-in-the-Head in bettas, and what does it look like exactly?

Ryan Ng - I know that for oscars, hole in the head disease is mainly caused by bad water conditions OVER TIME. I had to put one down because it got to the point where his whole face was like craters. You\'ll definately notice small holes and displacements near the head area. (my friends said my oscar had cancer, lol). They is actually medication on the market that will work to cure this disease but it\'s more important to have effective filtration and water conditions. Regarding Bettas, I haven\'t seen this affect them. It\'s probably because they\'re probably already use to harsher water conditions in the wild (eg living in turbid paddies, etc). Hope this helps!
