bettasx - If ever your betta has come from a long trip and looks as if his life is slipping away and there is not much you can do. The best thing you can do is take a small cup that is not very big(about 2 in. radius) and fill it about an inch with water. Now put the betta in there gently making sure not to make it jump or move to much. Then you have to gently blow on the water. If the betta spins at first, let it, if it continues to spin around in the water then there might not be much hope left, but with my experiences this has always worked. Just continue to gently blow on it, watching the water ripple and seeing the betta move around in the water is a good thing. You don't want the cup to be too large cause then the process will not work as good. Usaully a cup as big as a can, but half as tall is the best thing to use. If this process works when you have an injured or tired out betta then leave a comment behind. If it didn't work then your betta probably had a very slim survival chance. This process can also be done if the betta is severely injured after a fight and it bobs upside down as if it were dead. Just remember to repeat the gentle blowing over the betta for like 30 min to an hour until you are sure that the betta will not flip over again and die.
