Updates: New Betta Books - Just Released!

I have a wonderful betta that is about 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 years old. About 3 weeks ago he started getting very lathargic. He is laying at the bottom of the tank and not eating at all. Most of the time he stays underneath a shell in his tank. I treated him with Betta Max and he got a little better for a few days, but now he is acting up again. Am I doing something wrong? Is he just getting old? What else should I do? Help!!

Shannon - The average lifespan of a betta is about two years. If he already had long flowing fins when you bought him, he was several months old already, so congradulate yourself on caring for a betta throughout his old age. - Mar 25, 2002
